FREEDOMLESS is a film-documentary about domestic violence around the world produced by New York-based Look Out Films and Los Angeles-based Spanglish Studio. The story is set in New York and features characters from distinct backgrounds and cultures. The cast includes Europeans, Latinos, Asians, and Arabs who bring to life a screenplay written in four languages (English, Spanish, Arabic, and Japanese).

Freedomless shows the ongoing problem of Domestic Violence in gritty detail. Abuse has always had a muted existence, concealed in the past for religious, political, cultural, and social reasons. Ironically, now that we are more encouraged than ever to denounce abuse and seek protection, now that freedom has modernized our customs and traditions, now that organizations are actively promoting support and solidarity for the cause, now that laws have been passed that truly defend and protect us, violence at home continues to prevent us from being completely free. Now is when we truly deserve to be free.

Freedomless presents, portrays and catapults onto the screen this reality while showing at the same time human denigration at its worst. This film is dedicated mainly to women all over the world, to encourage them to keep fighting, never give up, and keep hope alive.
